Long time since last post

It has been a long time since I last posted. The last couple of months have been the build up for a big change in my life. Many long talks and deep thinking have led up to quite an eventful journey.
Long Island has been our home for the last 4 years. It has been a fantastic place to live. We met many very kind and fun people plus we loved our neighborhood. The winters were a challenge but all in all we were happy with our surroundings. Logistically however things were a struggle and we wanted to be closer to family because just like the saying goes, it does take a village to raise a child. We were lucky though to find a great preschool and daycare for Ori with great and loving people but nothing can take the place of family. Missing one too many family gatherings or stressing about how were going to get back to California was just one of those things we could do without.
So through the luck and guidance of God we were able to make back to California! Boy are we lucky. So, despite the renovations and the packing and unpacking I hope to be more attentive to this blog!
