Did you build forts as a child?
Yes, I used to build forts with my cousin as a kid. They were mostly in doors and we usually used the couch cushions and sheets to create our forts. We would crawl through them and sometime play storm the castle. it was a lot of fun.
My dad told me that he also used to make forts as a child. They would go to the back of appliance stores and get those refrigerator and other large appliance boxes. Then they would throw rocks at the boxes while kids were crawling through mimicing the foxholes in the war. He was just wondering how no one every got seriously injured because they threw the rocks so hard that they went through the cardboard. Yikes!
