The Amazing Race

This week's episode was a continuation of last week. When Cara and Jaime finally got to the end of the challenge, they were so happy to finally be in first place only to find out that the race was not over.
This twist of fate turned out to be a welcomed boon for Kisha and Jen, who were in serious trouble after the water challenge. When they found out that they were not eliminated they were in disbelief. Luck was on their side...for now.

The next part of the race was easiest for Tammy and Victor who are fluent in Chinese. Each team had a choice of reciting menu choices given from the diner to the chef or playing dress up. Most of the players chose dress up and made it through without incident. However, there was a u turn waiting at the end of the challenge. Tammy and Victor were first out of the challenge and chose Kisha and Jen as the u turn recipients. Strike one. This meant that they had to go back and do the other challenge which was the restaurant orders.

They did surprising well, but were still well behind all the others even though plenty of them had trouble locating the next challenge.

The next challenge was eating local food which consisted of deep fried insects. Only one member of the team was able to do the challenge. Again, most of the teams did well. However, the last 2 teams were the Cara and Jaime and Kisha and Jen. Even though Kisha and Jen got there first. Jen's strategy of breaking the insects into small pieces and gulping down water after each bite made her effort slow going and Cara and Jaime's group soon joined them. Cara and Jaime were able to gulp down the street fare VERY quickly and finished before Kisha and Jen. The race was on! Strike 2 for Kisha and Jen.

Here was the fatal flaw in Kisha and Jen's strategy. Since Jen had consumed 3 bottles of water, she now had to go to the bathroom bad. So the question was, do you race for the finish line and risk peeing on yourself or do you use the bathroom and hope you can find the finish line before the cheerleaders? I know my answer. This is for a chance to win one million dollars. Well, Kisha and Jen chose to use the bathroom. Strike 3...your out!
